Do we meet before the day?

Absolutely, I love meeting both of you before the wedding, we do our meetings via Zoom or phone, whichever your prefer.  You are welcome to book via email, meeting isn’t essential, we will chat in the lead up to the day about timings and other things either way.

How do I secure my date?

Once you decide to book with us a one third system is applied to your package, one third of your package represents your booking fee, which secures your date. One third of package is due the week prior to your wedding and one third when you digital images are ready approx. 3-4 weeks after your wedding.

Do you back up our wedding images?

Absolutely!  We take much care to always have numerous copies of your images kept on file even after we have delivered yours.  We keep your images on file for a minimum of 3 years after your wedding.

Can you help us with some general tips for our day?

For sure.  Having planned a wedding myself and having a genuine love and passion for weddings (I own and run Valley Loves wedding fair), I love to help with with tips and tricks to make your day even more epic.  Head to my Instagram for regular wedding planning tips and some inspiration while you're there too.

Do you do videography?

Yes we can provide you with video as well, we can either quote you this with your photography or help you find a videographer with a similar vibe and style amongst our talented pool of friends so you have a team you are suer comfortable with on the day.

Do you have a postponement policy?

We sure do. If the past year has taught us anything it’s that we are now experts in the art of postponing. We work closely with you to postpone your date to another that we are free on with no additional charge for up to 12 months post your original date.
If we aren’t free for your new date we have a contract in place that protects you that we will provide an associate shooter, one that is on our team already and one with at least the same or more experience than your existing team to shoot your day.
We take this part very seriously, we trust our team to shoot our own weddings. We are super happy to say we have transitioned many dates very smoothly with great outcomes for couples over this past 12+ months.

Do you capture a lot of weddings a year?

I believe quality is far more important than quantity, and I have a little boy that likes to see his Mum at least one day each weekend. We now keep our bookings exclusively to 40 couples per year.

How do you feel about same sex marriage?

Love is love, we feel sad we have to mention that we support and capture all forms of love.

What is your style?

Authentic, fun and creative.  We believe that you photos shouldn’t be a process, and that you don’t need to be away from your guests for hours on end. We provide loose direction to you for photographs on your day, but keep things light, relaxed and fun.

What if it rains?

We get right out there with umbrellas!  Great pictures can come from miserable weather, embrace it, it's the only thing on the day you have no control of and it makes for images other people don’t have.

Do you supply unedited images?

Editing your images is part of our process and we do not provide unedited images. We take care and many hours to provide you with a beautiful finished product.  You do receive 80-100 images for every hour we are with you on the day. Our supplied images are high resolution JPG images and these can be blown up, made into wall art, shared on Facebook, however you wish to use them, they are your memories to keep, share and use as you wish.

Can we get an album?

Yes!  As much as I love digital images, I love seeing your wedding in print, I want you to have a fine art Australian handmade leather cover album you can pass onto your children and enjoy yourselves for the many years to come.

Can you help us find a celebrant, florist or makeup artist?

Definitely, I am privileged to work with some of the very best suppliers in the industry, and I love helping you through the minefield of planning your big day. Head over to my recommended suppliers page as a starting point for the "A team" in wedding suppliers.

Do you do single photographer packages?

Yes! I have personally shot over 400 weddings and can absolutely capture your day solo, however I love what a second photographer brings to your wedding day coverage and highly endorse having one. Weddings under 70 don’t need a second photographer. Weddings 70-150 a second photographer isn’t essential but it adds another element to being able to capture other parts to your day I am not able to get to. Weddings over 150 definitely need a second for us to cover the day really well as capturing family and friends is super important to us.

We hate having our photo taken how can you help us with that?

Do many people really love having their pic taken? I am very happy to be behind the camera most days not in front of it lol.
We have many ways to help you both feel super comfy with us on that day, so much so that by the time we get to the portrait part of the day things will feel really natural.
We provide loose direction to you during portraits, to put you in great light (we’re photo nerds for great light) and also to ensure you’re images feel as natural as possible.
No cheesy shiz here, only timeless, fun and natural imagery.
